Stanley Black & Decker supports Children’s Aid Foundation’s pandemic response

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. — Stanley Black & Decker has made a $25,000 donation to the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada in support of the organization’s mission in the fight against COVID-19. The bequest to the foundation’s Child & Family Support Fund will help secure access to basic necessities such as housing, food, critical mental health support and e-learning technology. It will provide direct financial assistance to caregivers and allow flexible funding to local child welfare organizations to meet the needs of the families they work with.

“Stanley Black & Decker is immensely proud of our partnership with Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada, which is just one part of our company-wide effort to empower the front lines in the fight against COVID-19,” Jennifer Le Donne, VP of human resources at Stanley Black & Decker Canada, said in a release.
