CFL player moonlights in home reno after season cancelled

MONTREAL — With the Canadian Football League’s season cancelled, Montreal Alouettes receiver Félix Faubert-Lussier has taken up home renovation as an interim job. Faubert-Lussier purchased a triplex in Montreal’s Villeray district and took up a hammer to overhaul the units for rental. Although he faced plumbing problems that left him soaked, he is now renting out two of the three units and is already scouting his next property. “When I play football, I’m not a decision maker,” Faubert-Lussier told the CBC. “Out here, I’m my own boss. I’m the owner, I’m the worker, I’m everything.”
