WINNIPEG — New public health restrictions go into effect in Manitoba this weekend including a ban on in-store sales of non-essential items. Large retailers will have to limit store traffic to either 25 percent of capacity or 250 people, whichever number is lower. Stores that sell a mix of essential and other items have until tomorrow to either pull the latter from shelves or cordon off access. The measures remain in place until at least December 11.
