ATLANTA — With the DIY boom still going strong months into the pandemic, The Home Depot is making a major investment in home décor e-retail. The HD Home collection encompasses everything from furniture to wall treatments and cookware. In an earnings report, CEO Ted Decker said the company is “leaning into several home décor categories” as part of a “strategic investment.” Both Home Depot and rival Lowe’s Cos. have reaped the benefits of homebound customers.
