Ace Canada has announced the addition of Ace Hardware in Manning, Alta., as the banner’s newest corporate store. Previously an independent Ace-affiliated dealership, it has operated in the same location since the 1980s. During that time it passed through the successive banners that preceded Ace, beginning as a Macleods, then transitioning to True Value in the early 1990s before being rebranded under the TruServ banner in 2011.
Will Pasichnuk will stay on as the store’s manager. In a release, he said the transition “will provide the solid footing we need to remain the strong and valuable local resource for our customers who have relied on us for nearly 40 years.”
