W.W. Grainger reported Q1 net income of $236 million, or $4.48 per share, up from $171 million a year prior. Revenues rose by 2.8 percent to $3.08 billion. Analysts in a Zacks survey forecast earnings of $4.31 per share on sales of $3.05 billion.
