Quebec-based EBSU Ltd. announced it is acquiring Woodlore International Inc., a furniture manufacturer in Brampton, Ont. EBSU says the deal will help it expand into new markets and increase its production capacity. Woodlore’s Brampton plant is fully automated, playing into EBSU’s goal to increase automation in manufacturing. To that end, the company is set to open this fall a 180,000-square-foot plant in Valleyfield, Que., where several production processes will be automated.
