LP to build new facility

LP Building Solutions said this week it will build a new SmartSide ExpertFinish prefinishing facility on 75 acres in Bath, N.Y. Slated to open in Q3 of 2023, it is expected to create more than 60 jobs in the area. The new facility, which is contingent upon site acquisition and permits, will be designed for future expansions. It will join LP’s three siding prefinishing facilities in St. Louis; Roaring River, N.C.; and Green Bay, Wis.
