Today, Potvin & Bouchard counts four building centres in Quebec (Jonquière, Chicoutimi, La Baie, and Alma) and a distribution facility. Acquired by BMR in 2008, the business is now celebrating 90 years since Adélard Bouchard partnered with Ovila Potvin in 1932. “I’m certain that my grandfather Adélard would be very happy to see the evolution of his project,” says buying manager Annie Bouchard. “He and Ovila would never have suspected their woodworking shop and lumber yard of that era would see such success.”
