MINNEAPOLIS — Target has hired Brad Maiorino, information security officer for General Motors, to step into a similar role in the aftermath of the data breach at the end of last year. The appointment is part of a broader shakeup at Target which is currently seeking a permanent replacement for outgoing CEO Greg Steinhafel. Chief information officer Bob DeRodes, to whom Maiorino will report, came on board earlier this year, the Wall Street Journal reports.
