Tractor Supply Co. said this week its Q2 net sales rose 8.4 percent to $3.9-billion from $3.6-billion in the comparable quarter of 2021. Comp sales increased 5.5 percent, compared to an increase of 10.5% in the prior year’s second quarter. Net income increased 7.1 percent to $396.5-million from $370 million. Earnings of $3.53 per diluted share were up 10.7 percent from $3.19.
