Mountain Equipment Company has launched store-within-store sites at three Hudson’s Bay stores in the Greater Toronto Area. The locations are at the department store’s downtown Toronto’s flagship, the uptown Yorkdale Shopping Centre, and Square One (pictured) in Mississauga. Each one is between 7,000 and 11,000 square foot in size and operates like a standalone MEC store, except for bike and ski service stations and some larger items. At the same time, MEC has made its national debut at TheBay.com.
