West Island independent closing its doors after 40 years

Steve’s Hardware and Variety Store is a true independent in one of the oldest malls in Montreal’s West Island. The store is in the process of closing after it opened 4 decades ago in 1983 in the Pointe-Claire Plaza.

Steve Naday and his wife Toni have decided to retire, and spent the past month selling off inventory to patrons who had benefited from the expertise and service from Naday and his team.
