Investment in U.S. construction projects declined by 0.3 percent in October, according to U.S. Commerce Department figures. The drop was in line with Wall Street expectations and followed a 0.1 percent uptick in September. Spending on single-family dwellings fell by 2.6 percent. On a year-over-year basis, investment rose by 9.2 percent in October.
