Hudson’s Bay Co. this week revealed the menu for the Zellers food trucks that will accompany the banner’s resurrection as a store-within-a-store concept. The menu items were chosen from a shortlist in a public poll.
The food trucks are meant as a successor to the classic Zellers Family Restaurants, given that the new format’s size can’t accommodate an on-site sit-down diner. Where the old restaurants served up a range of fare from all-day breakfasts and soups to pies and milkshakes, the new mobile menu consists of four finger foods and a side dish of fries and gravy.
