Zellers, the discount brand being revived in Hudson’s Bay stores, will mobilize on March 23. Zellers will open its first locations within Hudson’s Bay stores in Alberta and Ontario, along with its food trucks, ready to dish out nostalgic favourites from the original Zellers Family Restaurant: the Big Z Burger, Hot Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Cheese, Chicken Fingers, and Fries with Gravy.
Over the four-day opening, food trucks will appear for one day at different store locations in Alberta, at the Sunridge Mall in Calgary, Kingsway Garden Mall in Edmonton on March 23, and the Medicine Hat Shopping Mall on March 25.
In Ontario, openings will take place March 23 at Scarborough Town Centre in the GTA and the Rideau Centre in Ottawa; St. Laurent Shopping Centre in Ottawa and the White Oaks Mall in London on March 24; the Cataraqui Town Centre in Kingston, Cambridge Centre, and Mississauga’s Erin Mills Town Centre on March 25; then the Burlington Mall and the Pen Centre in St. Catharines on March 26.
