TORONTO — Canadians are more mobile savvy than other nations including the U.S., according to a new study commissioned by PayPal, and ripe for more mobile and online payment options. PayPal’s market research shows that 52% of Canadians dream of a world without lineups, and 52% would use their mobile devices more if all retailers accepted payment using them. Even over the web, simplicity is key: shoppers will give 51% of potential sales a pass if they have to spend time registering for a payment site.
