This past weekend, Kingdon TIMBER MART held a grand opening for its store in Lakefield, Ont., about 20 minutes outside Peterborough. The 50,000-square-foot store replaces an older site nearby and the parking lot had more of a family circus vibe than a business launch. With everything from local food vendors handing out treats to chainsaw sculpture and axe-throwing contests, this was truly a state-of-the-art opening!
