Zak’s Home Hardware in Saskatoon celebrated its grand opening at the end of May. Dealer-owner Wyatt Zacharias purchased the former Reid’s Home Hardware, which dates to 1953, earlier this year. Between May 25 and 28, he welcomed locals for refreshments, games and prizes, and a kids’ colouring contest. In June, the store partnered with the City of Martensville to host a tree planting event for grade 7 and 8 students at Martensville Kinsmen Park.
