Western Forest Products reported a Q2 net loss of $20.7 million, compared to a $17.7 million loss in the previous quarter and net income of $38.6 million in the comparable period of 2022. Lumber sales fell to $212.4 million from $351.8 million a year earlier. The 40 percent decline was attributed to lower prices and shipment volumes.
