ATLANTA — Home Depot is selling MakerBot 3D printers in 12 stores as part of a pilot project with the printer’s manufacturer, Stratasys, according to Bloomberg News. The retailer has already offered the printers through its online stores for the past three years. A Home Depot online merchant called the program “a pilot for us to test a potential disruptive technology, and to make sure we are on the forefront of a new innovative product.”
