BeautiTone, the exclusive paint label of Home Hardware Stores Ltd., has revealed its 2024 Colour of the Year. Illumina (a name derived from the Latin for “illuminate”) is described as “a soft yellow with notes of red, a nostalgic pop of cheerful colour.”
As the centrepiece of the BeautiTone 2024 Colour Trends collection, it joins six other hues and four supporting neutrals. Kristen Gear, lead design and colour specialist at BeautiTone, said in a release that the 2024 palette is “beautifully paired with invigorating blues, poetic reds, and a calming purple.”
