$4 million fire at Goderich, Ont., Home Hardware was electrical in nature

A devastating fire completely destroyed Watson’s Home Hardware in Goderich, Ont., on May 25. The fire, described as a complete loss of the store, caused $4 million of damage—including $2.5 million of stock. The Goderich fire department has determined that the store was electrical in nature.
