Home Depot activates disaster response teams to prepare for Hurricane Milton

Home Depot in the U.S. is bracing for another hurricane that is laying siege to Florida and other Gulf states. The company’s southern division has been aligning its stores to serve customers after being hit by Hurricane Helene and waiting for the impact of Hurricane Milton. More than 60 stores were closed at any given time in areas being hit by the storms.

Home Depot’s disaster response command centre, based at the company’s home city of Atlanta, manages logistics to ship product to stores and resupply them after the storms have passed.
