Throwback Thursday is a regular weekly feature in which we dip into the archives of the Hardlines Weekly Report.
In our Nov. 17, 2014, Hardlines Weekly Report we ran a piece reporting on the comments from (then) Ace International president Bob Moschorak, who was of the opinion that buying groups like we have in Canada don’t exist south of the border. Even the ones we have in this country are suspect, Moschorak said. “There isn’t the volume to support them and they are duplicating efforts.”
American distributors like Ace International would be a better option, Moschorak implied. As reported recently by Hardlines, Ace International has sent a letter to all Ace dealers in Canada that it will no longer supply them when the current supply deal with Peavey Industries expires at the end of this year.
