ST. JACOBS, Ont. — Terry Davis, who began his career as a warehouse employee for Home Hardware and then found work operating some of the earliest commercial computers before raising up the ranks in the company where he got his start, knows the importance of online shopping. “We launched our full-fledged online store in June and it has far surpassed our expectations,” he told the (Kitchener-Waterloo) Record. Some dealers “felt they wouldn’t get any new customers from it, but that hasn’t been the case. They are seeing new customers who shop online and pick up their products at the store.”
