TORONTO — Sears Canada has announced that Ronald Boire, previously chief merchandising officer at parent Sears Holdings, has taken up the appointment of acting CEO. In a statement, Sears confirmed that the search for a permanent replacement for previous CEO Doug Campbell is ongoing, and Boire is “a leading candidate” for the post.
