TORONTO — Canadian retailers have a lot going against them this holiday season, according to Report on Business. Heavy competition from U.S. e-retailers like Amazon, price wars, and stock market woes are among the factors that will converge to make November and December likely tougher than usual. At the same time, a lower loonie is a mixed blessing, discouraging cross-border shopping but at the same time driving up costs for retailers.
