The U.S. Census Bureau has estimated investment in building construction at an annualized rate of $2.15 trillion in November, up 1.0 percent from October. Spending on private construction was at a rate of $1.65 trillion, 0.1 percent above the revised October estimate. The annualized rate of residential construction spending was $906.2 billion in November, also an increase of 0.1 percent.
