MINNEAPOLIS — Target stores will open at 6p.m. on Thanksgiving Day in the U.S., Time reports, joining a growing number of retailers pushing their Black Friday sales openings earlier. Macy’s, Kohl’s, and Sears have also moved up their hours to dinnertime, but the move is not with its critics among labour advocates and competitors like Costco, Home Depot, and Nordstrom who have promised to stay closed on the Thanksgiving holiday.
