BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Reuters confirms that Walmart, which had reportedly been considering matching prices with online retailers like Amazon, has given store managers the go-ahead. CEO Greg Foran said the company is recognizing existing practices, noting that “about half of the stores were doing it anyway.”
