OAK BROOK, Ill. — Ace Hardware, the dealer-owned hardware co-operative, has introduced an “Express Delivery” program that lets customers shop online at the company’s website and have their products delivered by an employee from a local Ace Hardware store on the same day. Ace began testing the program in 33 pilot stores across the country on January 26. Orders must be placed by 1 p.m. and deliveries can be made within a 7-km radius for a $5 fee.
