WASHINGTON — Shares of Lumber Liquidator are plummeting since a report on 60 Minutes revealed the flooring manufacturer was selling products made in Chinese facilities with higher volumes of formaldehyde than permitted by California law. The California standards will take effect across the U.S. later this year. Senator Bill Nelson of Florida has asked heads of three federal agencies to test Lumber Liquidators flooring for its levels of formaldehyde, a known carcinogen.
