ATLANTA — Newell Rubbermaid has reached an agreement to sell Endicia, a developer of global online shipping solutions, to Stamps.com, an El Segundo, Calif.-based online postage provider. The sale of Endicia, which reported approximately $59 billion in adjusted sales for 2014, is expected to close by the end of the year. Newell Rubbermaid CEO and president Michael Polk acknowledged that Endicia is “a very attractive asset” but added that it “is not focused in the core of our portfolio.”
