BURLINGTON, Ont. — Ikea announced that it has secured locations for its first two Pick-Up-Points, in Quebec City and London, Ont. Scheduled to open later this year, the Pick-Up-Points will allow customers to pick up purchases made in-store or online closer to home. They will also offer computer terminals where customers can shop via Ikea’s e-commerce site and “inspiration areas” where they can try out home furnishing ideas. The locations are part of an international pilot program targeting areas without an Ikea store.
