LONDON — Sir Christopher Lee, veteran of such Hammer Horror classics as Dracula and The Wicker Man and later of the Lord of the Rings movie franchise, has died at 93. The actor had been experiencing heart and respiratory problems. Sir Christopher died on Sunday but Brigit Kroencke, Lady Lee, kept mum to the press until all her late husband’s friends and relations had been informed. Tributes have poured in, with director Tim Burton describing Lee as “a true legend.”
