ST. JACOBS, Ont. — Eric Konecsni, former vice-president, operations for Home Hardware Stores Limited, was inducted into the company’s “Builders’ Circle” at a ceremony on May 25. The Builders’ Circle program was launched in commemoration of Home’s 50th anniversary in 2014 to honour and recognize retired board members and corporate officers who have made extraordinary contributions to support the success of Home’s dealer-owners. Konecsni retired on December 31 after 46 years of service: 32 years with Beaver Lumber and the last 14 years at Home Hardware, after joining that team in 1999 following Home’s acquisition of Beaver.
