WINNIPEG — Lowe’s is entering the Winnipeg market with a store in the Whyte Ridge neighbourhood in the city’s southwest. The Winnipeg Free Press reports that zoning has been approved for a site at the south end of a retail complex with such neighbours as Home Depot and Walmart’s Winnipeg South Supercentre. Documents obtained by the Press from the Winnipeg Construction Association show architect’s working drawings are underway, which means the project is a “go,” the association’s executive VP Ron Hambley confirmed.
