BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Walmart is allowing customers in some U.S. cities to order groceries online and pick them up in their local store’s parking lot. The free service is being rolled out this month after successful pilot experiments at select stores. Shoppers will select a pickup time when they make purchases online and drive to a nearby store, where staff will load purchases into their car. The retailer plans to expand the service to more U.S. cities over the next several weeks.
