TORONTO — Sears Canada, which announced in November that it would sell and lease back its National Logistics Centre, reported that the transaction has closed. Sears will continue to operate the Toronto-area site as the lessee of new owners Tamworth Properties, an affiliate of Metrus Properties. According to the company, the transition involves no cuts to staff or disruptions of service.
