ST. JACOBS, Ont. ― Home Hardware announced transitions for four Ontario stores this week. In Embrun, Ont., dealer-owner Ken Carscadden has remodelled a former BMR store and brought it under the Home banner as Embrun Home Hardware Building Centre. Carscadden has operated Barry’s Home Hardware in Russell, Ont., for the past 15 years. Wharncliffe Home Hardware in London celebrates its reopening under new ownership, while the town of Hanmer’s Home Hardware is also showcasing its newly renovated premises. Finally, Applewood Home Hardware in Mississauga will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Former Mississauga mayor Hazel McCallion will join the store, formerly Central Parkway Home Hardware, for a special ceremony.
