BOUCHERVILLE, Que. ― Groupe BMR inc. has acquired land adjacent to its Ostiguy & Frères corporate store located at 1000 Industriel Blvd. in Chambly. The real estate will become the site of a new warehouse for building materials for those stores. The project represents a total investment of $2.5 million―$1.3 million to purchase the land and $1.2 million to build the warehouse. Construction started yesterday and should be finished by December.
“Adding a new warehouse for building materials right next to our store was a necessary step for Groupe BMR and we seized the opportunity when it presented itself,” said Martin Lecomte, retail vice president for Groupe BMR.
