LAS VEGAS, Nev. ― The Orgill Fall Dealer Market, on until Saturday in Las Vegas, is playing host to a record number of dealers, despite being an event that is typically lighter in attendance than its counterpart in February. Orgill supplies dealers in 60-plus countries, most of which are represented on the show floor. However, the Canadian contingent continues to be a key growth segment for the Memphis-based hardware wholesaler, with hundreds of Canucks from every corner of the country on hand to meet vendors.
The show is being held at the convention centre attached to the Venetian hotel, which forced the show onto two floors. The lower floor, which features “flash deals,” was the focus of attention for most Canadians on day one, with vendors anticipating a lift in traffic today as the dealers make their way onto the main floor of the show.
