MISSISSAUG, Ont. — A study released by Husqvarna Canada has found that 61% of Canadians use at least one green gardening method such as composting or harvesting rainwater while completing yard work. Nearly half (46%) use environmentally-friendly tools on their properties. “We’re committed to providing innovative products and solutions for maintaining parks, gardens, and forests, all while respecting nature and caring for people,” says Michelle Sordi, director of marketing, Husqvarna Canada. “This report confirms the value Canadian customers place on environmental impact, and as a global manufacturer we know that the case for offering environmentally-friendly equipment to our professional and at-home users is strong.”
