TORONTO — DuPont Corian, a counter material used by architects and designers around the globe, is being featured in a Pop Up Design Studio in Toronto’s Design Exchange until December 15. The over-sized displays in the studio space are inspired by a child’s world and experiences children gain through play, “where everything is big and nothing is impossible,” according to a release. Visitors can explore the colours, shapes, and textures of Corian, as well as a range of fabrication techniques such as illumination, thermoforming, etching, and wireless phone charging.
