OTTAWA — The Retail Services Price Index rose 0.8% in the second quarter, registering the same rate of growth as reported in the second quarter of 2012. The increase of the index was largely a result of margin increases by gasoline stations. Conversely, growth was moderated by margin declines at general merchandise stores, health and personal care stores and clothing and clothing accessories stores.
