Taiga names flooring GM

CALGARY — Taiga Building Products has appointed Sven Johnson as general manager of flooring, effective from April 3. Johnson spent 36 years with Primco, working his way up from the warehouse to Territory Sales Representative and ultimately becoming a co-owner. He also sits on the board of directors for the National Association of Floor Covering Distributors. Paul McDonald, flooring product manager, and Rick Churchill, flooring sales manager for Eastern Canada, will report to Johnson in his new position.
