LOS ANGELES — Ace Hardware is number one for the eighth year in a row on J.D. Power’s Home Improvement Retailer Satisfaction Study, which gauges customer sentiment over the past 12 months. Ace is followed, in descending order, by Menards, Lowe’s, Home Depot, True Value, and Sears. The survey found price to be the most significant draw for customers choosing a retailer, with 53% basing their choice on cost considerations.
