LANCASTER, Pa. — Armstrong World Industries reported Q2 earnings of $1.27 per share, adjusted for one-time items, coming out on top of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.18. Earnings were up from $1.01 per share in the second quarter of 2018. Armstrong has exceeded the Zacks estimate in two of the past four quarters. Revenues missed estimates by 2.74% at $272 million, up from $248.6 million a year ago.
