NEENAH, Wis. — Bemis Co. saw adjusted earnings slide 28% to $0.48 per share, a greater loss than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.56, hit by political instability in Brazil. With non-recurring costs included, earnings totaled $0.30 per share, compared to $0.53 a year ago. Revenues also fell short of expectations, declining to $1.012 billion from $1.021 billion in Q2 of 2016. Analysts had forecast revenues of $1.036 billion.
